Falcon Rust allows players to vote on which map will be used for the next wipe. The voting system is automated and runs on a strict schedule. Supporters get extra voting power to encourage the community to invest in the server. Become a supporter in the store.

When Voting Opens and Closes

The server bot posts a map vote message exactly 24 hours after a wipe goes live. This gives everyone time to finish the wipe cycle and plan what they want for the next one. The voting message includes multiple map options posted by the bot. React to the option you prefer.

Voting closes 2 hours before the next wipe, allowing the server owner time to prepare the new map. Plan ahead. If you miss the voting window, you cannot influence the map selection.

How to Cast Your Vote

When the bot posts the voting message, you will see multiple map options with emoji reactions. Click or react with the emoji for your preferred map. Each player gets one vote by default. Supporters get double votes, allowing them to support a map more strongly or split their support between two options.

You can change your vote during the voting period. The final vote count determines the winner. Simple majority wins. The most popular option becomes next wipe's map.

Supporter Double Votes

Store supporters contribute money to keep the server running. In return, they get twice as much voting power. This is a reward for supporting the community and also helps balance votes between casual players and dedicated supporters.

What Maps Get Voted On

The server owner selects which map options appear in the vote. Usually 3 to 5 different maps are offered. Options vary based on what the server owner wants to rotate. Past wipes typically include Procedural maps of different seeds, custom monument layouts, or community-designed maps.

The bot posts all options clearly with descriptions. Read the descriptions to understand what you are voting for.

Strategic Voting Tips

Coordinate with your team before voting. If your entire group votes for the same map, you have more influence. Small teams often prefer maps with better monument placement so they can compete. Large clans might prefer open maps for control. Discuss what benefits your playstyle.

Watch the vote progress. If your preferred map is losing badly, you can change your vote. The voting message updates in real-time. Do not wait until the last minute if you have a strong preference. Cast your vote early and encourage teammates to do the same.

Voting Does Not Guarantee Your Choice

The community decides the map. You might not get what you want every wipe. Vote strategically, accept the results, and adapt your gameplay to the new map. Complaining in chat about map selection does not help.

After the Vote

Once the vote closes, the winning map is locked. You cannot change it. The server owner prepares the map and resets the server at the scheduled wipe time. When you log back in, you are spawning on a completely fresh map with all players starting from scratch.

Visit the leaderboard to track your performance across wipes on different maps. Some players perform better on specific map types. Over time, you will develop preferences based on experience.
