Tier 1 green card puzzle monument. Two recyclers on-site. Blue keycard reward.
Sewer Branch is a Tier 1 monument with a simple green card puzzle and a blue keycard reward. Located in a tunnel system, this medium-sized structure yields approximately 168 scrap. The presence of two recyclers on-site makes this an excellent learning monument for players beginning their progression toward Tier 2. The straightforward puzzle design combined with practical rewards makes Sewer Branch one of the most efficient early-game farming routes.
One green keycard and one electric fuse are required for completion. Radiation protection at level 10 is minimal, making basic hazmat sufficient. Medical supplies including bandages provide safety margin, though this monument is highly forgiving compared to higher-tier locations. Verify you have both keycard and fuse before entering to avoid wasting travel time. Many new players forget fuses and learn this lesson the hard way. The monument is underground, so environmental exposure is not a concern beyond radiation.
Sewer Branch consists of interconnected underground tunnels and chambers accessed through a red building entrance. The layout is compact and intuitive. From the entrance, a clear progression path leads through tunnels, past the puzzle room containing the fuse box and switch, toward the green card door. The two recyclers are strategically positioned before the loot chamber, allowing immediate processing of unwanted items without backtracking.
Enter the red building and navigate through tunnels to the puzzle chamber. Locate the fuse box and insert your electric fuse to activate power throughout the monument. Flip the switch in the same chamber to deactivate the electrical barrier blocking deeper passage. Exit toward the ladder area and follow the linear tunnel path downward, then ascend toward the ladder. At the tunnel junction, turn left toward the green keycard door. The right path leads to a dead end, so commitment to the left path is critical. Use your green card to swipe at the green keycard reader to unlock the final loot chamber containing three crates and one blue keycard prominently displayed in the center.
The two on-site recyclers are positioned before the loot chamber. Break down unwanted items immediately after looting to keep your inventory lean during the return journey.
Sewer Branch contains 25 barrels, 18 basic crates, and 4 military crates yielding approximately 168 scrap total. No elite or locked containers. The blue keycard is your primary objective, worth far more than the scrap value alone. This card opens access to Tier 2 monuments like Water Treatment Plant and Train Yard.
The blue keycard is essential for progressing to Tier 2 monuments and represents your first major progression milestone. Once obtained, store it safely at your base. Blue cards unlock higher-tier farming locations that reward red keycards and access to even more valuable content. Run Sewer Branch repeatedly to accumulate multiple blue cards.
Sewer Branch is less popular than other monuments, working in your favor for safety. The underground tunnel system provides natural cover compared to open monuments. Scout the entrance area before committing to a run. The tunnel system provides escape routes if needed, and on-site recyclers mean you process valuable items immediately, reducing exposure time.
