Satellite Dish is an essential early-game monument providing your first pathway to blue keycards and mid-tier loot. This Tier 1 location features a straightforward green card puzzle with zero scientists or radiation threats. The monument consists of two metal shack structures on elevated terrain. You can complete a full run in under 10 minutes, making Satellite Dish perfect for solo players and new team members. The primary reward is a blue keycard, which unlocks access to superior monuments.
One green keycard and one electric fuse are required. Radiation protection is optional since the level 10 radiation is minimal. Bring the two items and you are ready to go. This is one of the most accessible monuments in the game.
The monument comprises two connected metal shacks. One is the non-loot building containing the fuse box and electrical systems. The other is the loot-containing building with barrels, crates, and the blue keycard. Both are small, single-story structures with interior corridors. Navigation is simple and linear. The elevated position offers visibility of approaching threats.
Enter the non-loot shack and locate the fuse box positioned centrally within the structure. Insert your electric fuse to activate power throughout the monument, which restores electrical systems and unlocks doors. Lights activate immediately upon fuse insertion. Exit the non-loot shack and move to the adjacent loot shack, which is only a few steps away. Locate the green keycard reader mounted on the door, typically positioned at chest height. Swipe your card to unlock the final chamber containing the blue keycard and all remaining crates. Enter the unlocked room and collect all loot, prioritizing the blue keycard above other items. The entire puzzle takes less than 5 minutes from start to finish once you understand the layout.
Skip unnecessary barrels if inventory-limited. The blue keycard is the only essential reward. Experienced runners complete the entire monument in under 5 minutes.
Satellite Dish contains 16 barrels, 10 basic crates, and 2 military crates yielding approximately 108 scrap total. No elite crates. The blue keycard is worth far more than the scrap value alone and opens access to Tier 2 monuments. Basic components and metal fragments round out the rewards.
The blue keycard is your primary progression goal. This card unlocks access to Laboratory, Military Tunnels, Water Treatment, and other Tier 2 monuments. Without blue access, your farming options are severely limited. Acquiring one from Satellite Dish is typically your first major progression step. Run this monument repeatedly until you have a blue keycard in storage.
Satellite Dish has one recycler positioned strategically within the monument structure. You can process unwanted items immediately after looting, reducing return journey weight and risk. This on-site recycling capability makes Satellite Dish convenient for inventory management during longer farming sessions. Break down military components, blueprints, and other items you don't need for immediate storage, converting them to compact scrap that's easier to transport. The recycler is positioned so you pass it during your exit sequence, making the workflow natural and efficient.
Satellite Dish is ideal for solo farming during your first progression phase. The monument requires no combat skills and takes minimal time. The absence of scientists and PvP threats makes this consistent and safe. Visit early and repeatedly until you acquire a blue keycard. Once you have blue access, expand to higher-tier monuments and begin building endgame gear. Satellite Dish remains relevant throughout the wipe as a quick scrap farm if you need fast recycling.
